2013 Trip: Thankfulness

The women were so very encouraged that went to Rwanda this year specifically for them. We cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who sent us to work with the women.

Part of one session was about worshiping the Lord through giving thanks.

We had them work in groups and list things they are thankful for.
Here are some of the things they listed...

~Salvation
~Their health- none of the women are sick and they were all able to attend this conference.
~Their children and husbands.

~That some women in their groups have recently learned to read and write.
~The Bibles and conference supplies that we provided them with.

~That The Lord brought us safely to them to lead this conference.
~The meals that were provided at the conference.

~Humility that the Lord gives the people of their country in accepting foreign aid
~Glasses given to those who could not read because their vision was so bad.
~The people in America who sent our team to teach and encourage them.

Today we are thankful for the our sisters in Rwanda, time we got to spend with them, and for everyone who helps make these relationships possible.

Join with us in worshiping through thanksgiving.
What are you thankful for today?

  1. I'm thankful for One27 Ministry, and the way it's impacting lives not only in Rwanda but also of the people who serve and support. I'm thankful for our connection with people so far away, and the oneness we share as believer's in Christ.

I'm thankful for my family-in-love (and my real family, too!). I'm thankful to have families who love Christ and pursue Him.

P.S. I'm also thankful for the communication and updates provided through this blog and the persons who update it ;)
