Purpose
The purpose of One27 Ministries, Inc. is to make disciples, especially widows and orphans in East Central Africa. This is to be accomplished by meeting the needs and requests for evangelism, teaching, training and resources. Resources for the organization will be provided by public donations and other charitable fundraising activities.
Goals
The ministry is still in the formation stage, but these are the board’s goals for accomplishing the purpose of One27.
•Provide resources and training for churches, organizations and individuals already evangelizing and discipling widows and orphans.
•Provide care for widows and orphans.
•Provide evangelism teams.
Statement of Faith
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings and they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life.
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and that these three are equal in deity and power.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, truly God and truly man; His miraculous conception by the holy spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and His personal, imminent return.
We believe that man was created by and for God; that by Adam's sin every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice.
We believe that all who believe in Jesus Christ are saved by grace through faith apart from human merit or works. Jesus died for the sins of all mankind on the Cross, and was resurrected on the third day.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers to convict us of our sins, teaches us truth, encourages, comforts and guides us in prayer, worship and service.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God's forgiveness in His Son.
