One week down

The pastors conference wrapped up Thursday morning.

Each year, along with the teachings, we try to leave the groups with something tangible. We presented the men with ties and hats. It was fun to watch as they all helped each other tie their ties.

After wrapping up the pastors conference, the team loaded up and headed to Ruhengeri, a village about 3 hours from Kigali. The pastor of this church has attended Wayne's pastor trainings in the past. They were very encouraged to have us worshipping with them.

Two of the women in this church attended our women's conference earlier this week. It was great to meet the group of women that they represent. We were able to help the women's group by purchasing two pigs for them. They raise the pigs to sell and support widows in the church and community.

This church needs a concrete floor. Because of our trip supporters, we were able to leave them wi a donation that will help them begin to lay concrete.

The youth conference started today. There are about 55 youth from all over the country attending. We gave them each a Bible, for which they were very grateful. Today's topics covered godly living and sharing the gospel.

Pray for us as we finish the two day youth conference tomorrow, as we talk more about setting a godly example and respect.

Our team continues to work in the school and with children after school. The gospel is being presented over and over. Praise The Lord for this opportunity! Pray that we will reach these children with Gods love.

Continue to pray for our team. Everyone has stayed well. This is the point in the trip that fatigue begins to set in. Pray for good rest, along with good attitudes and health.
