Farmers depend on the rains to make their crops grow.
Everyone knows that without rain, there is no food.
Villages depend on the rains to fill their wells.
Without it, streams run dry and they cannot wash clothes.
And yet, while the rain is so critical for livelihood, it is also a season that is dreaded.
With rain often comes flooding and with flooding comes the spread of disease.
Travel is made difficult and more dangerous.
Roads wash away, structures crumble.
Rwanda is nearing the end of their rainy season and this year, it has been particularly bad.
Pastor Esron told us that at least 3 people in Kigali have died this year from the heavy rain.
Would you pray for the school we support in Remera?
Recent rains have severely damaged the school and many repairs are required.

This is the school at the church we partner with in Remera. This school has a huge ministry, as up to half of the students who go here are orphans. Many of the students who go to this school do not attend this church, allowing the church to reach out into the community and touch a lot of families that it might not reach otherwise.

The Remera school lost it's roof in a bad storm. School was closed for at least a week while the church and teachers worked to clean up the damage.
They are still rebuilding and are in need of funds to replace the roof.
Would you pray, that as we raise funds for our trip this summer, that the Lord would provide beyond what is needed and that we would be able to help fund part of this project (about $1,000)?
