The 2015
summer trip was a GREAT trip with many prayers answered, trip objectives met
and growth in God’s Kingdom. On our
second Sunday, I preached a message on the benefits of being a Believer, using
Romans 5 as a basis for that sermon. One
of those benefits is God allowing tribulation in our life in order to “grow
us”.
The Apostle
Paul’s words in Romans 5:3-5 were made abundantly clear to the team this year
as we had flight delays, baggage delays, persistent car troubles and one very
important cancellation. So God allowed
trials, but we understood His purpose was to “grow us”.
Despite the
troubles here are some of GOD’s accomplishments during our mission this June:
Completed the pastor training which
began in 2008
Conducted
our third youth leaders training
Ministered
through His Word in the villages of Kabare, Kabuga and Butaka
Served daily
with a primary school in Remera and once in a remote secondary school
Shared the
Gospel clearly with schools, villages and churches
Enabled time to visit with the
children sponsored through One27’s scholarship program
Blessed the
time of reconnection with old friends and the making of new ones
None of this
would have been accomplished without God and God’s people. Many of you supported the team through prayer
and finances. Murakoze chene’. Thanks so much.
